PAROPLAPI, qu'es acò?*

VOICES AND MEANINGS
The performance and study of this repertoire throws light on the deep ties between people and common values. In fact the artist' work work with the musical traditions of a region represents a form of continuously evolving cultural research in the name of unity within diversity. Each of the members of the Paroplapi trio, who have been performing this repertoire for years, have come together with the aim of offering an ample selection of popular songs from the areas mentioned above; an anthology of what the collective memory has recorded on the thread time.

*"What is it?" in provençal.

Etymological note: little Cecilia, whose words often collide with her lips, has given us a nonsensical and unusual name.
